Northern Illinois | Financially there likely is not a reason to pay it off early unless interest rates drop below 3 percent.
It is nice to work on a piece of ground and know that you own it. It is also very nice to work on a piece of ground and know that you own and that you have it paid off. Emotionally that is nice.
I am sure that everything was on the up and up with lawyers involved and all. If you have it all paid off with the title in your name a heir would not be able to contest that sale or the contact claiming that you took advantage of an elderly couple. I know that is not the case but you asked for ANY scenario where you would want to pay off the land. | |
