E.Central MN | Your post wasn't there when I posted my reply. I did read the OP's post which mentioned it was an "odd sized" opening. I took that to mean that the type of (security) door he was talking about wouldn't fit that opening. It's not the end of the world to have a contractor cut concrete and re-do it, certainly cheaper than trying to order a custom made door if a certain type of door was what he wanted. I sympathize with his predicament, when we looked for information on how to install windows and doors in a walk-out basement with cement block walls, it seemed like the window and door manufacturers had never seen that situation before. I'm thinking they don't get out of their cushy office chairs very much. | |
