Floyd County, Iowa | I have a CPAP (BIPAP), but I've quit using it. I sleep better without it now. I have to use the nose/mouth facemask, and the escaping air keep me awake now, so I just quit using it.
But I wouldn't "self medicate" with one. The doctor (neurologist, IIRC) sets the pressure, duration, timing, etc, to your individual needs. You won't be doing your lungs any favors by having it not right. Could result in "lazy" lungs and diaphragm. | |
