NW Washington | The current unemployment rate is 3.8 percent, a record low. I see signs everywhere saying businesses are hiring. But things are always in a state of flux; one company is laying people off, and another is hiring. Also, finding people with the skills necessary for many jobs is difficult.
Then there is the political spin that is applied to many things, depending on who is talking and what they are selling.
