Eastern NE KS | No. I don't. My repaired valve is a tangible, lasting thing.
A lot of healthcare is done thru masking symptoms. My #1 symptom, regurgitation is gone. The valve no longer leaks and as mentioned earlier extended life is a good. Perhaps that surgery to repair the valve is a service.
I not really sure why in this thread 'services' are discounted as being of no consequence. (A least this is my take on the two things.) In any of my old dabbling in macro economics we never tried to sort the two concepts as carefully as in this thread. GDP is defined as a measure of both and we spent a lot of time discussing GDP changes but not it's two parts. | |
