I farm a bunch of soils like that. Row cropping them isn’t worth it without irrigation. Honestly I’d spin 100lb of urea and 100lb of potash on while it’s still damp and cool. 300lb of potash will leach in that light of soil.

Basically unless it’s a wet year, you’ll get one good cutting in late may, then have some regrowth, but not really enough to cut, until it cools off and starts raining again in September.
