I’d go with your gut feeling- most important thing to do is to get colostrum in him ASAP. If you’re not comfortable giving him the full two quarts now then give him a quart now and then another quart in 2-4 hours- hopefully calf sucks the bottle and you don’t have to tube. Good luck
