S. IL | Last 3 years I've spread NPK on pastures and hay fields in Feb/March and have cut a heavy first cut late May/early June, and a pretty good second cut late Sept/early October. We usually dry off sometime in June so getting the best 1st cut I can is important. One field I couldnt get spread this spring because it was too wet looks night and day different than the ones that were spread. Much paler and shorter. Will get it spread once it dries up. | |
