.9 in the gauge Tuesday and .4 today. Not a bit ran off and no puddles even though the Tuesday rain was very intense and horizontal  but short lived.

Grass does take off and there's usually too much gras around June 1 but that's why I bale it.

Cow consumption is relatively uniform through the year but grass growth is not. My new motto is to bale it whenever I can rather than let it stand and get stemmy and go to seed.
