I never fertilize rough ground, hay fields after 1st crop if they are not in the bale grazing rotation and only N they might get is if I buy Turkey manure which looks like will no longer happen or if I put DAP on. Otherwise it is Potash with elemental sulfur and boron, feed the legumes and let them supply the Nitrogen.
