The producer delivers grain to an elevator. What makes the difference what regional basis does at that point?
The farmer can't pull the truck under the load out tube and say I want my grain back because so and so down the road has a better basis
than you do.
HELL it isn't even the farmers grain anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The farmer is an unsecured creditor the minute the grain is delivered and the DP contract is signed.
DP means Dumb Producer
If it is on open storage they can load out. Or threaten to load out.
You can even make elevator load out on rail |
