ok this is unorthodox but it work really well:
fill the pot with water 8 cups or soish. put in 3 denture tablets and let completely dissolve. yes really. when dissolved, pour into tank thingy and let sdit for a while. then, run through a normal cycle. run though another cycle with just water. your coffee maker should be clean and tasting good.
