Go buy a little bottle of Dip-It at the grocery store and follow the directions. It will clean out all the junk and stains and not leave a nasty taste. It is good to clean out an electric drip coffee maker to keep the minerals in the water from clogging up the water heating tubes. I think this stuff is actually citric acid.
