Subject: Re: Buying the farm

If it was me I would work on securing title to the property while your parents are still of sound mind and judgement, I personally think that your lil-sis is getting annoyed that her inheritance money will be coming from you and your brother and not a big developer. I have first hand knowledge of how these family feud's over the land start, One farm in our family was almost lost to foreclosure because after one of my great aunts died everybody wanted the land and money but not the bills, finally one cousin through the mediating of my grandmother was able to take possession of the farm but she is still just barely hanging on. When mom died 2 yrs ago dad and I sat down and transferred his interest in our current farm to my wife and I. I don't think he even mentioned it to my sister but then again she knew from the beginning that the farm was mine. We said that we would never go through what the family went through before and we meant it.
