Dad knew a guy when he was growing up that was the original tight wad. When he and the wife went on vacation, the luggage was always placed in the back seat. The trunk was reserved for what he referred to as " the six pack", 6 five gallon cans of gas from the farm barrel. I don't even like to haul around a gallon can for the weed eater, let alone in the trunk, yikes!
