Was going to town with my wife and needed som gas for the lawn equipment. Put a 5 gallon can in the trunk of her car and filled it up when we got to town. Mind you, I placed the can on the ground to fill it then placed it mback in the trunk. Never do that again. Took a good 2 weeks to get the smell out of the car.
