Subject: Baling corn stalks in Michigan

Is anyone baling cornstalks in Michigan for feed. I heard its hard to get them dry enough to keep. I know they do it all the time farther south but will it work here. If so how do you do it? Do you cut rake and bale? Or could you just drop the chopper of the Combine and bale right behind it. Dont need huge yield just a supplement feed source.
