I would reestablish any alfalfa that got drowned out. Look for Alfalfa to be the bright spot among crops for a few years. Its unbelievable the acreage plowed up and put into corn here in the corn belt. Alfalfa is a lot like milk cows. Once they are gone, they ain't commin back. Too much work and worry with either enterprize.
