Our corn is so crappy

So Brian, how did that work combining the corn with the platform head? Pretty slow, or........? Just curious how it would work running the extra stalk through.

I've heard the veriety serindipity being talked about locally. The field of fescue we subleased out for corn this summer was planted with some sort of hybrid sweet corn. It had the stalk of a field corn and the ear of the sweet cannery corn.

So what kind of machine do you use to take out those rows that I seem to have forgotten the word for? You know, the ones that are not there to harvest. I've seen pics of a machine that goes on a topper and just rolls the corn stalk down and has knives on it to chop the stalk enough it cant come back.
