Harvest of 1999, mom had cancer. Open heart surgery October 1st, passed away in December.
2002, dad fell ill in fall, needed a lot of attention to get him to a place he could tolarate, physically & metally.
2003, dad fell real ill & passed away. In October.
2006, my sister fell real ill. In fall.
2007, it's back for her. This fall.
I don't even know what a harvest is like any more, or what prepping the machinery is like. Don't have no time to waste on harvesting, just visit people & sterile buildings all fall, every fall.
Neighbors wonder why I'm not getting the crops out........
Oh, the injector pump went out on the combine 2 days ago, will be a couple before I get it back..... Small potatoes tho.
'The end' is kinda getting me too.
