Renville Minnesota

I kinda agree with ya Mlbrun.

On this falls soy ground going to corn were using .9 gallons for tillage and NH3 (chisle applicator).  F.C. in spring is less, but will say .9 also just for argument sake.  Thats 1.8 gallons.  I'd swag a pluribus unit one pass would take maybe .5 gallons.   So there would be IMO 1.3 gallons at 3 bucks = $3.9 savings in fuel with strips........BUT......if your putting dry or liquid N on with the pluribus, your in the hole BIG TIME!

Corn on Corn one pass strip till would be closer, but again, if your not using Nh3, your even, uh.......Maybe.

I went through the Nh3 is Evil phase, but our yeilds and soil tests seem to like it as well as liquid or dry..........Though, I'll still take neighbors manure over anything!

Good luck

PS:  Do ANY of these Ethanol articles give credit to where their "research" comes from?  Seems to me none of the nay sayers have ever step foot into an ethanol plant, much less a farm yard to get numbers...........Or how about looking into oil from the ground to vehicles?
