Subject: RE: Tend to agree ~

central - east central Minnesota -
I tend to agree with notiller. To many unknowns from day to day, field to field, year to year to say yes that's the thing (attchment) to do/use. With the JD750 closing the "smeared" trench is more important then worring about the smear sidewall. I have had issues with getting the trench closed in very wet clay (one of the had to plant as it was late and more rain on the way), and it seems to work it's self out - more so, I think, from the beans ablitiy to "fix - improvise" our planting misforturns . . . As a side note, I'm advocating more drilling then 30, 15 or 10 inch rows due to more and more later season spraying (aphids, spidermites, rust etc) because if you hire it done - they (cust applicator) seem to run only on the row. Less yeild reduction if they have no defined row to run down. IMO -
