| I am looking at buying a new air compressor for around the house use and see two that are in my size and price range. One is a 15 gal Brute made by Briggs & Stratton sold at Wal Mart with a 71 piece tool kit,has 125 psi 2.5 hp motor and is a oil lub model cost around $185.00. The other is a Craftsman sold at Sears 26 gal with a 23 piece accessory kit oil free model for a on sale price of $159.97.
Do any of you have any experience with either model?
Also what is SCFM stand for?
Which is better a oil or oil free model and what are the benifits of each?
Both are vertical models and have a 1/2 " impact and a 3/8 wr. plus various other attch.
