we have a oiless compressor in our shop and it runs our impact as good a a smaller two lung oil type. It is a 2 stage compressor not the 185$ type and is noways near as noisy, it is a craftsman. I would buy it again if I didn't have the room for a large 2 lunger maybe 220 volt type. Ben
