Chinese chains are crap. Wouldn't use them on a bicycle.

In general, Chinese steel is crap. Always has been. When you start getting into applications where the quality of the steel counts, you get to see just how crappy Chinese steel really is.

Spend the extra necessary to get real chain, do the repair/maint once and get back to farming.
