When we priced it this year the Deere and Shoup price were about the same so we bought locally. Bought some other Shoup planter parts though.

MFG's have a tightrope line to tow. They want to keep the prices jacked up because they know they will get the captive sales anyway (guys that have service done by the dealer) but if they get it too high the rest of us will go elsewhere.
