Here are some pictures of how we attached the fuel tank on the small Challenger to eliminate cracking do to the original attachment points. I took more pictures but I seem to have deleted them when I took them off the camera....oops. The first picture shows the strap we put over the top of the tank to hold it in place. The second picture shows where we cut the brackets off of the tank to allow it to have some flexibility. This is also visible in the first picture....the original brackets are welded onto the tank at the bottom edge right where the strap goes over it now.
