That may well be where my trusty assistant got the idea, then. I've never seen one which had the update, but I'm sure he had. It was cracking along the seam at the bottom in the vicinity of the break between the sump and the big part you can see in the picture. I still find some humor in the fact that Cat found it so difficult to build a fuel tank which wouldn't crack, having built tracked machines for the better part of a century before these things came out. We've had fuel tank problems on five out of five Challengers we have owned.
