The outside fillet weld design may be for some type of robotic welding. Looks like it was designed for easy manufacturing, not reliability. With argon in the tank, I welded ours on the tractor. Probably could get by filling it full and welding without argon. This one was cracked near the lower reentrant (inside) corner on the right side.
