| I'd go with the EZGuide 500 or the 250 with upgraded antenna if I had to do it over again because the Plus doesn't show you where you've sprayed (a big deal for me mistblowing because if the wind changes I have to pick a new AB line and then I'd be looking for wheeltracks if I didn't have my handheld Garmin in the cab with me showing where I've been). I bought a Plus a few years ago and might get a 250 for a second unit if I can convince myself that some of the help will be able to figure it out. Either that or get a 500 for myself and give the Plus to the fertilizer crew. With foamer dots in the center of the tractor they're having a hard time judging how far to stay away from the last pass. The Outback Lite is sweet at $1000 but you'd pay for the difference in accuracy if you went for the EZGuide Plus or 250 with updated antenna at closer to $2000 if you did a lot of spraying (or lost some custom work if your streaks lost you a job). | |
