Somerville, Indiana
I have heard both ways on the 1020. probably due to experience in adjustment more that anything. 3 inch cut is less
$$$ upkeep, but I was fond of 1 1/2 inch until Ryan said he wanted to replace with 3 inch. I have always been happy with the 1020, but what do I know? Its a shame we can't put all the good from each company together.

If you want a good small grain head, get rid of the cross auger in favor of draper head.
