I try to make the trip at least once/year to the local combine bone yard. I did this when running the old masseys and now with the AF1666. As you have probably seen, it is a treasure trove on what to look out for in a combine. Where do most fires start, what does rock damage do,where are the wear areas,etc..... I learn something new every year. My personnal favorites are the combines with five or ten rocks still sitting in the rock trap. Hard to believe some people are to lazy to check something soo simple. | |
