Manitoba | Your JD may be telling you the truth--cause some of the TV 140's were cranked up to 150 HP. The engine is the same one they put in the TR combines, capable of up to 280 HP. Having said that though, I'd be resistant to putting that tractor on a grain cart that size, I'm thinking that it would push it around a lot and the hydrostatic, as good as it is, may not handle that kind of abuse. The TV140 is a wonderful choring, baling, mowing, augaring and loader tractor--and that is what we use ours for--wouldn't trade it for any other loader tractor. | |
