| Ran a processor in an FX harvester for a couple years, incredible loss of capacity, increased fuel. New holland offers a plate that lays below the shearbar and bars that bolt under the knives that look like rasp bars in a combine, they call it a diameter kit. We have been running the plate and bars for five seasons and the results are comparable to a processor with nominal capacity loss and is easier on fuel. Processors are great for increased part sales and enhanceing the bottom line of the custom harvester. My .02 | |
