Subject: RE: Rootworm corn

Went out looking at our corn that went down yesterday or should I say tipped over.... The pattern in the field was just strange, not all the field, not one hill side. Driving down the road doing my best thinking and today it finally hit me. Came home and pulled out my planting maps with the variable rate..... anything over 31,500 is at a 30 degree lean in the field, everything else... just a little tattered 29,000 standing good, 27,000 standing good. 32,000 and 34,000 not good, looks just like a soil map when looking at standing and down corn. I know words don't do it justice, but the picture is speaking in real $$$
