| Mine is a '76 instead of an '87. I also put one on a 350 that had a rottenchester on it. The afb works great. I went with electric choke on both and the only mods were to the throttle linkage and the air cleaner. The throttle linkage from the holley to carter I think (but dont quote me till I check) was a direct, or allmost direct exchange. The other swap I had to fab a cable mount. The air cleaner "boss?" on the afb requires a spacer.
Seems to be about the same power. The adjustable choke is nice. | |
