Of course, then again, carbureted engines are rapidly becoming a thing of the past.

Don, ain't that the truth! Couple weeks ago I had my car ('79 Fairmont wagon, what a babe magnet!) in the shop to get a muffler/tailpipe.

Guy comes in, needs some work on his ?? Jeep carb. This independent shop sends all carb work down the street to the old guy's shop who has been at it 40 yrs.

After the guy left the shop owner told me his son (who was working on my car) graduated 2 yr vo-tech auto mechanic class. Out of 2 yrs they spent less than 2 hrs book learnin' about carbs!
