Our experience is very similar to that here also. We seem to grow best crops when we add at least crop usage amounts of K every year, no matter what the soil test K level is. On corn we try to add as much K as we do N, every year. We haven't made any scientific study of return on investment for using that much K, but our PHI corn never goes down.
