It is all dependant on what kind of condition they are in. If they are cool, dry, and sweet they will keep as long as you keep them that way. If they're wet or hot it goes downhill fast.

12% or lower, get them as cold as you can any time you can.

The biggest issue that can arise is that they can go out of condition if left without anyone paying attention to them. If they go out of condition, it doens't matter what the price does, you're gonna lose your butt.
