I use an iPad Air 2 because I feel I need the detail and the ability to rapidly and accurately tap-function my app with my  fingers while flying. That's me personally, however many fly with small screens. I never will. I can't imagine flying without a sunscreen on most days. Homemade, or purchased, it has to fit securely and stay put. I'm moving to a Hoodman (with its extension). I've had it with the cheap ones. I also have Power Supply Anti-glare film installed. I guess I rationalize spending this money because I have a $4500 bird in the air and need to get those special magic shots and footage. Most of magic opportunities go away for ever - and you'll never get another opportunity.
