Nevada, Iowa | I get to a point where I really hate some of the necessary points of harvest. Inevitably we'll have to end up at the local co-op to deliver some overrun or we'll think a moisture tester has gone south and need to check it. Without a doubt I'll run into one of these local "universal truths" and suddenly be in need of overshoes and a shovel. Even the radio station in Des Moines has them calling in with harvest results. It has gotten to the point where I won't turn the radio on now during the noon hour.
I will never understand how lying about something makes people feel better. Just doesn't make sense. | |
