SCPA | The 2-3 feet tall part scares me somewhat(a LOT), you might give serious thought to a standing crop roller. It would be well worth some of your time to check with Steve Groff. He is (and has been) doing just this, and getting very, very accpetable results. One very "self taught" note, roll the material the direction you wish to go with the planter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
About 18" of top growth will just give a planter fits, bearing mind that todays planters determine seed depth by a gauge wheel riding BESIDE the seed trench, more surface material requires a "deeper" setting. | |
