| FAA states "furthering a business" becomes commercial activity.
Specific language relating to this is used by the FAA on multiple "hand outs"
Ex: Farmer uses drone to fly to end of field (own field) to check water levels and uses the info in a corrective action....BUSINESS
Each of us (drone operators) have made our own decisions based on risk/reward....but what needs to be weighed in is when the FAA believes an operation outside of hobbyist activities, that throws a lot more weight to what they can investigate and their means to do it.
