Subject: soybean fungicide observations

Middle TN
I sprayed my 3.9s with Headline and Silencer. I planted a week or more before a neighbor and theirs (same variety) were cut a week ago and mine are still not ready. I think this phenomenon will be a benefit this year as we recieved some rain that may have been to late to help the neighbor's.

Most of the beans in mine are hard but the stems are still green and there are still quite a bit of leaves still hanging on. I think I've read about others having this problem, but couldn't find it in the archives. The pods seem to be holding together better than the neighbor's as well. I've been watching them pretty close and will go ahead and cut them if they start popping open.

Lastly, Asgrow 3.9s are probably two weeks further away than Pioneer 3.9s. Asgrows were planted first. Both sprayed with Headline.

Sorry, didn't leave a check strip.

Thoughts?
