Subject: Re: How deep to chisel ?

McLeod County Minnesota
I have had better luck with regular straight chisel points that are just wide enough to keep the sides of shanks from wearing. I went through the twisted shovel routine because they were supposed to end all problems but they didn’t for me. They just took a lot of horsepower to pull and I couldn’t run them as deep as I wanted. For depth, I like 8-10” if I have enough horsepower to do it. Let us know what you decide to do.
