Pasco WA. | This pivot was planted on 7/21/06 following timothy. Looks like it will make about 1.75 tons. Monday I am cutting a pivot that was planted on 7/31/06 following wheat. I expect it to make about 1 ton. Sure is amazing what a difference 10 days in planting date makes. Neighbors fields that were planted around the same time are full of weeds that have gone to seed or where they have sprayed there is not much to cut.
Time to start 5th cutting when the new seedings are done. | |
