Subject: Loading Semi's

Years ago when we use to ship alot of horse hay to the South East, we used a bale fork that would pick up 10 small bales at a time, 5 bales in 2 rows, and put them into the trailer.
Could stack 5 high and then would push them forward as far as the loader would push them. Stack another group and push them forward. There would be a space left in the top that one more layer would fit in, and that would have to be hand stacked, before it was pushed forward.
This worked real good. Need a good HP tractor for the pushing. We used a 7800 JD with 4WD.
Not sure how they got it inloaded, but never had any complaints. Two guys could load in less than an hour.
