Subject: Storage of dried corn------in Harvestore silo, or in a pile in a shed?

Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577

We hopefully will have a storage problem this year for yellow corn.

It will be dried to about 14-15.

Normally store it in steel bins, and freeze it.

Upside to a Harvestore-------ease of putting in and taking out.  Downside------lack of being able to put air into it.

Alternative-------- laying down plastic inside one machine shed, and dumping in a pile.  Downside------ hassle when loading out.

Corn would be stored for up to 90-120 days.

Thanks for the comments.
