Edgerton MN
We just filled our 2 20x60's with a 40 HP air system from nearby grain bins. We have filled them several times before with no problems. We have a straight air tube across the bottom. I think it is a 12" with a 3 HP fan on it. We suck the air out the bottom. Our next progect is to make a vent for the fill hole so we don't have to open the hatch every time we want to run air on it. We have stored dry corn and SB in ours over the years and have never had a problem. To empty them we just let it run out of the unloader door until it quits running and then put in a sweep from our 18 ft bins. When it is time to deliver grain, you will be glad it is in the silo instead of the machine shed.
