Leesburg, Ohio
Sound like a good deal if it has been well cared for. We have a 1988 4250 2wd with the quad-range and about 5000 hours. Ours still looks almost new, and gets alot of use in hay and straw season, pulling a single 750 bean drill, and auger use. We had it on a 12 row planter for the first few years, and it would run a little on the hot side on hot days...just had to keep the radiator thoroughly blown out. Handles the 15' drill just fine. Don't think the true Power-Quad was available until the 6000-7000 series. The 8-speed power shift or the Quad-Range was available in the 50 series.
If it meets your needs, sounds like a winner.
